The hotel is super clean, and the Mediterranean salad here was a must-try. The valet went above and beyond during a tough time for us. Also, check out the pool area. it was a nice way to unwind after our long days.
Felt really welcomed, no complaints.

Proximity to medical facilities is a game-changer here. being within walking distance to MD Anderson makes life a bit easier for those in need. The shuttle service, while sometimes slow, connects you right to the heart of the Medical Center, providing a reliable way to get around without a car.
The pool being under repair during my stay was a letdown, especially when it’s advertised as a facility. I found a dead roach in the drained pool area, which isn't exactly welcoming. Be aware that parking is a serious cash cow at $28 for valet, though there are cheaper garages nearby. Wi-Fi access costing $15 daily felt a bit steep too, especially when you’re already laying out cash for the room. Overall, it’s convenient for medical visits but definitely has a few quirks to deal with.

Great location near Methodist Hospital. check-in process was a bit slow.

missingWrote a review on Dec 23decorated lobbymedical accesscomfortable atmospherewi-fi costsmall desk
The hotel's proximity to medical facilities really makes it stand out, especially for those visiting for treatments. The elegantly decorated lobby provides a warm atmosphere, which can be quite comforting during stressful times.
The $15 charge for Wi-Fi feels excessive, especially when most places offer it for free. Parking fees can stack up quickly at around $9 each time you leave. An additional $15 if you park overnight. The in-room desk is impractically small, making it difficult to work comfortably, and I encountered a worn-out remote control for the TV, which didn’t work properly. Lastly, the pool was under maintenance during my stay, which was a letdown since I booked expecting to relax there.

The hotel boasts a fantastic location near major medical facilities, making it ideal for those with early appointments. The staff stands out for their exceptional service, particularly the valet team, who went above and beyond during our early morning departure. Dining options here are impressive, with a highlight being the Mediterranean salad and Tomato Basil soup. However, the hotel can get busy, leading to occasional delays in service during peak hours.

The hotel's lobby was elegantly decorated, creating a warm atmosphere, perfect for senior guests. Accessibility was a breeze with smooth walkways and easy access to all essential facilities, making it comfortable for everyone during our stay.
More senior-friendly seating in common areas would help.

missingWrote a review on Oct 27clean roomfriendly staffconfusing parkingslow housekeeping
The hotel offers a beautiful and clean environment with friendly staff. The shower was impressive, and the beds were comfy. However, parking was confusing, and I faced some issues with housekeeping's speed. For the price, some amenities could be improved, but the location near restaurants and Rice University is great.

The Marriott provided an excellent experience during my work stay. I was upgraded to a Concierge Level Guest Room, which was spacious and well-equipped with modern amenities, including a mini fridge and a microwave. The M Club Lounge offered a varied selection of food throughout the day, with a fantastic breakfast that included freshly cut fruit and warm pastries. Additionally, the hotel's staff, particularly Maraceli and Roxie, were exceptionally attentive and ensured that all my needs were met promptly.
Parking spaces were quite tight.

missingWrote a review on Sept 14friendly staffgreat outdoor activitiesdirty service elevator
Had an awesome time with friends at this hotel! We visited the Museum District and the local parks, enjoying some great outdoor activities. The staff were super friendly, making our stay enjoyable. Just keep in mind that there’s limited dining options on-site and parking does come with a fee, so plan accordingly!
On the downside, we found the service elevator quite dirty, which was disappointing given the standard we expect from this chain. It was frustrating to navigate through that, especially during our check-in.

We had a lovely time here, especially with the beautiful parks nearby for our dogs. The staff was incredibly compassionate, even arranging for additional towels when needed. Plus, the hotel’s close connection to major hospitals made our stay easier during this medical trip.
My kids wished for a small playground area for some outdoor fun. It would’ve been great if there were more family-friendly amenities available.

I loved the location next to the MetroRail. It made getting to downtown super easy. The breakfast was delicious, and I appreciated the kids' menu available. Valet service was fast and polite. However, the noise at night from the street was a bit distracting at times. The shuttle service to Rice Village was handy, but we did have to wait longer than expected for it to return. The hotel room was clean, but I found long hair in my coverlet, which was off-putting. The staff wasn't very responsive when I called for extra towels. Overall, I felt like there should be more emphasis on guest comfort, especially considering the hotel caters to visitors needing medical services.
